Vaccination of workers in tourism
According to information from the center’s newspapers, Megaro Maximou is said to have approved a plan by the Ministry of Tourism to prioritize vaccination of those directly employed in the tourism sector, immediately after the vulnerable groups. The next group will be the workers in catering and retail, while in combination with the widespread use of individual tests in tourism companies, it is expected to give a “safe” boost at the beginning of this season.
Israeli tourists
At the same time, according to a report by OPEN TV, the way seems to be paved for the start of the tourist flow from Israel even earlier than May 14, under certain conditions. In particular, Israeli tourists should have taken the second dose of the vaccine 14 days before their trip and have a negative molecular test. At the same time, sampling tests will be performed at the entrance gates.
British ban

However, the forthcoming travel ban for British tourists until recently is a matter of great concern. In fact, it seems that the relevant legislation will be passed in the British Parliament soon, while the British Prime Minister is quite skeptical about when the above measure can be lifted.
In our country, officials of the Ministry of Tourism are optimistic that the measure will be lifted in May, however the current developments will certainly affect the upcoming bookings.
